There are 3 vents in the rear of all 2015-2020 carnivals. 2 in the roof and powerful main one on the driver side wall near your feet.

The Kia Sedona (Carnival) is a minivan. Do Australians not use that name, but rather "MPV"? Also, I would think if you were going to compare two different segments, you'd compare the Sedona with a Sorento. In this case people mistakingly come away thinking "Kia better than Mazda" when it's really just saying minivans are generally more practical than crossovers.

We have an 8 person family. How about a straight shooter review on all 8 seaters on the Australian market? Kia Carnival, Mercedes-Benz Valente and V-Class, Hyundai I-Max, Toyota Tarago, Honda Oddessy, VW transporter, and LDV G10. Not a SUV 7 seater pretending to be a people mover. They do not have the leg or luggage space. No average '2.4' family. How about a test with a range of ages 0-99 yo, OK keeping it simple a New born, 2 yo, 4 yo, 7 yo, 12 yo, 17 yo and parents. With the accompanying baby seats, booster seat and luggage/shopping. How about a goodly 5-6 hour car trip, not just around the corner where everyone is still happy! A real road test!

That comparison is..not a comparison by any means. The only thing those two have in common,is the 7 seat configuration. And thats it. Quality,looks,comfort..Mazda wins before even the comparison starts.

I own a Hyundai and a new mazda. My Hyundai is far better quality and they service cars properly and are an honest company who go out of their way to make you a happy and loyal customer. I hate my mazda and the company who made it. I show everyone what is amazing about my Hyundai and compare the lower quality in the mazda. It's easy to demonstrate why they like myself should adjust any simpleton conceptions about japanese vs Korean car quality. Hand on heart I would never consider dealing with mazda again after how they treat warranty claims.

stendec Stretcher First of all,you don't need to be Mazda fan to see the obvious. I don't own Mazda,never did. I am more of a Honda/Lexus/BMW fan. Mazda is a bit dull for me. Second,if you consider 42 year old man a boy,thanks for the compliment. And last,even a blindfolded person would feel the difference of the sleek, aerodynamic shape of Mazda,and the build quality. Only by hand. So I don't have a clue what you talking about.

@@eleonik76 What metrics are you using to compare quality and comfort? I've not owned a Kia before, but have owned a '93 Mazda and that wouldn't be called "comfortable", but rather just practical.

malayrojak Are you seriously comparing Mazda 93 to 2018? Even if you get Mercedes S klasse from back then and compare it to the cheapest KIA,it will still loose.
