Norwell is a neat little track. Don't think I've ever seen it but the lack of run off on the long bend, drink on the other side of it if you lose it on oversteer exit + more lack of run off on the next bend would intimidate me. Good job you got Atko in the seat :)

Now,although the comparison was spectacular,we all know,that majority of people who will buy any of these cars, will most likely never take them to a race track,let alone doing comparisons like these,or taking them into consideration when buying them. End of the day it all comes down to practicality,driveability,build quality,looks and warranty. Mercedes A45 interior is so outdated,that it hurts. If i was gonna go Mercedes,it will be the all new C coupe. Audi will make you happy with its nice interior and functionality,but it just looks bland..,however,if you want to play safe,and you live somewhere North,Quattro is good choice. BMW has the looks,the build quality,the fun factor,and average practicality. You will be noticed at any place and any time. And if your driving skills are above average,you will enjoy the perfectly balanced chassis,engine and gearbox. Enough said.

When I saw that they were putting water on the track, I was expecting to see a wet lap... And that would change the game, for sure! Don't get me wrong, I love the M2, but where I live, I have at least 30% of the days with wet roads. And is almost impossible to extract all that power in those conditions, from a M2.

Good review, although it would have been much more interesting if the pro driver elaborated in more on each car. For example, the A45 was found prone to oversteer in the corners more than the RS3 which was recently discounted by AutoExpress for the very same reason of too much understreer. As for the M2 it is clearly a very capable car. So, in my opinion, such comparisons are clearly extremely dependent on 1. Driver's own preferences and driving style as well as preconceived expectations of the driven car, 2. Road and/or Track type and conditions; 3) Tyres used by each car. Therefore, to create a truly objective comparison a test must include at least 2 pro drivers who would drive the cars back to back both on track and road. This should be followed by briefing on each car’s strengths and weaknesses and overall rating for the road, track and daily use. This would be something interesting, although quite time consuming and expensive to make. Anyhow, my two cents.

2 series is coupe version of 1 series, so its the same segment with RS3 and A45. Z4 is the TT's rival, not M2. It's like blaming for comparing M4 with RS4. The main thing is the chassis, not the cars looks.

Thank u for a great video. Of course I am pleased that the M2 "won", although the difference is not noticable for a normal driver. But I can assure u that my need for the M2 is not getting smaller - just praying that BMW will get their stuff together and deliver my car which I ordered even before launch in the middle of october... really amazed by the fan boys , an m2 is basically a small m4 3.0 inline six coupe were is the creativity in bmw , Audi and merc are a different product compared to what these companies make , and again one may refer to bmw heritage , fine they are good in inline 6 engines but a different product would do , the a45 is something different from a company used to making big v8s , Audi gave the car a nice exhaust on a 5 cylinder bmw is playing safe which is a bit boring no exclusivity
