In fact, I still find it crazy that amplifiers are designed without accompanying speakers being mentioned with which the design could be optimally optimized by the manufacturer itself. It is the story of producing an egg without a chicken and then daring to call it High End, while the buyer is actually left to his own devices to reproduce the entire end result of music reproduction in his living room as the designs originally intended. For example, I asked Kef which amplifiers they used in their lab during the previous development of the Kef 250/2 reference and could not give me a concrete answer. This may make you think beyond the framework that you are currently stuck with.

You're absolutely right. It might be better if amplifier manufacturers recommended suitable speakers.

I have the Luxman L-505Ux II and a superb amp it is.With the magnificent Wharfedale Linton speakers you can't go wrong ! Totally recommended.

Cute and informative video. I am in the U.S. and trying to decide on the Luxman L-509Z or the Luxman E-4000.
