Comparison between pulse laser cleaning and continuous laser cleaning

What laser would be best for cleaning graffiti on stone buildings or statues that are hundreds years old? Continues 1500W laser would probably damage the stone surface, right?

I'm wondering how much of the surface is damaged by using the 1500 W CW-laser. The 100 W pulse result doesn't look that bad. Which laser to choose not at least depends on the usage of the material to be cleaned.

For precise cleaning please choose pulse cleaner to protect the base material. But if for rough cleaning and you’ll repaint the surface without a high requirement for the painting effects, then continuous laser is better choice.

what lasers are you using?

Pulse cleaner is JPT Mopa M7 series, and continuous laser cleaner uses Max laser source. Mostly we use Max/Raycus/BWT laser source for continuous laser cleaning.
