Boombaya and whistle as debut songs were massive hits bts however started getting popular in 2016 and 2017 which was actually three to four years after their debut. Bts weren't popular like blackpink since their debut. That's why they have more songs than blackpink does. Plus, any group that debuted at the time of blackpink has more songs than them because they ACTUALLY produce more songs and are much more dedicated to their band. Therefore, for bts's case, we observe a graph inclining but for blackpink, it's a declining graph. Because the members of blackpink received much love from their debut, they didn't seem to be bothered to actually give something to the band. The girls are more interested in their solo careers than the band which actually gave them fame in the first place. That's why many rookie groups can perform better than the current blackpink. Many groups like twice and mamamoo are WAY better than them and are way more dedicated to their work as idols. Have you seen the recent born pink tour? The back dancers literally perform better than the members. Except for Lisa, the girls can't dance, rosé was somewhat better now she's tired too. Only rosé has stable vocals, Jennie and jisso lack stage performance and stabilized vocals and Lisa shouts through most of the songs. Bts have been truly devoted to the band since they debut and have struggled way more than blackpink has. They turned one of the struggling agencies to one of the highly revenue generating companies. They contribut 3% to south Korea's economy and have been raising their voices for the right things e.g united nation speech's on self love and Asian hate crimes. Blackpink members especially Jennie and Lisa give out pure vulgarity by dressing and acting as they do. You might say that they're grown enough to do what they want and that's fine but don't blame yg for Jennie doing projects like THE IDOL or for Lisa's CRAZY HORSE POLE DANCING PERFORMANCE. If the girls are more devoted to the band , they might be as successful and established as bts are today. No one can out perform them or out sell them. They give out their 100% to the fans because they know that they receive it too but in the case of blackpink it's only one way. Lastly, I know it's hard being a blink because seeing the current blackpink, it would be very hard for you to defend them and their stats. Many rookie girls groups can out perform them in the years to come and they might lose their favorable position in kpop industry :)
