I bought the Cassie and Cassie 19 (as a spare of the moment!) I ended up returning the regular Cassie for the same reasons you did... I’d rather just carry a Longchamp if I need to carry more! Love the 19 it’s a better version of Chanel square mini :-)

I have the Cassie and the Cassie 19. I love both but the 19 is a great little bag with so much versatility. I recently purchased the rambler in fuchsia and the smaller rambler in black. Both of these hagas are part of the originals collection and I’m just in love with the look! Such a vintage vibe! 😍 if I were you, I’d keep the Cassie and 19 and the mini Willis. 😉 the color on that Willis is amazing!!! Great video! Stay safe and healthy!

Did they discontinue the “owl” bag? I don’t see it on the coach website. Update: found one on eBay in this color and just purchased it.😁. Was crazy about dooney bags for awhile but getting back into coach bags now. I have the coach dinky in green I’ve been using all year with the gold coach chain strap as a shoulder bag. Wanted something a touch bigger for cooler weather able to hold my phone.

Cassie seems like the hands down winner. I actually love the look of all the Willis bags, old and new, but that one is so small it’s almost silly. And I’m not digging that round bag. By the way, I love owls too, so you’re not the only weird owl lady 😂

Great video! Wanted to let you know that the idea of the 3 way removable straps on the Cassie 19 originates from the bag company MZ Wallace - a feature of their most famous bag. Couple years later Coach came out with this feature on their Cassie 19.

Had the original ‘owl’ bag and loved it for years. It was a different closure on the original bag. Gave it away a couple of years ago and have been kicking myself for it. Love that they brought it back but not in love with that color. Might purchase it just still on the fence. Thanks for the video.

I owned the original Willis design. Loved the style then and love it now, but the new, smaller size would definitely be a problem for my iPhone.

I kept the Cassie 19 but I haven’t used it if I’m going to be honest, so I can’t report on how the glazing is holding up. Unfortunately the glazing issues on the bigger cassies are a big problem. Coach has been pretty good about repairing them but I’m not sure if they are doing anything else to actually fix the issue from a construction perspective. Definitely take a look at the rambler. It’s a similar shape and size, but has rolled leather edges that are sewn. Much more durable!

I just picked up Cassie 19 on sale at Macy's. I thought I was going to like larger Cassie until I fit my Galaxy Note 10 Plus in the outside pocket of small cassie. Perfect size for a crossbody, but nice to have 3 strap options. TFS.

This is the best review of Cassie 19! I’m waiting tor mine to arrive. Loved that you tried to fit the umbrella. Such a necessity for the kind of weather we have where im living. Just a little bummed out about the glazing, can you have them repaired at coach stores?

I believe coach will do the repairs for free since this is a known issue, but they mail it to their repair department - they won’t do the repairs in-house at the store. So it might take a few weeks for this process.

Great comparison video. I love the Cassie 19. I fell in love with that bag as soon as I saw it. Perfect size for me, and the three strap options are amazing. I’m torn between chalk, which I would customize with oxblood tea roses, or waiting to see if they come out with it in other colors. Thank you for this lovely distraction ❤️

Check out the coach rambler. This glazing stuff is a relatively new way brands are making flap bags. Most vintage flap bags have rolled leather edges which are much more durable. Coach revived their vintage rambler style recently and it’s definitely made the old fashioned, much more durable, way.

Mama Beech I wish they would change this bag, too... maybe they will make a modification? That gold chain is just so nice. I love the options. Despite that issue, I went and looked at it today in person. I will check out the rambler but I have a feeling nothing will make me happy now that I’ve seen the 19. Hi, how is the wear and tear of your Cassie 19? Any issues with the side glazing so far? (cracking, breaking etc) I heard the LV pochette metis commonly has the glazing issue. Now I'm looking at Cassie 19 and would like to know your feedback, thanks!

I didn’t keep the Cassie 19 for long enough to speak on the wear, but I will say that from what have heard in my Coach collector Fb group, the glazing on the 19 seems to be much better than the large one. Not sure if they fixed the issue or it’s just easier to get glazing to stay on a smaller bag.

To me it seems like the “Cassie 19” of the vintage revivals (aka probably the most practical). May pick one up to see in person and test out! I think I haven’t picked one up yet because I do find the styling of it to be a little on the dull side and not the most eye-catching.

i bought the Cassie 19 chalk just for the strap too , i chose chalk coz i dont have that color yet so it justify me keeping it, its cute and looks chic though too small, itll be my summer fancy bag, though i feel awkward as wearing it in my shoulder the chain is too short and the bag is just under the armpits

My favourite would be the Cassie 19. I am not a fan of the shape of the rounded top handle bag. The Willis bag is ok but I prefer the look of the Cassie.

I like the curve turnlock style but ultimatly the Willis wins due to the 'accordian styling' which allows for easier access, glovetanned leather and cool color! ..the Cassie is boring.
