Comparison: FansToys Spoiler VS X-Transbots Crackup (Breakdown)

Hey everyone, so I missed the ab crunch on Spoiler during the articulation comparison but it doesn't change the results. Sorry about that.

I don't recall seeing any scenes in G1 that made me think the Stunticons are definitely way bigger bots than the G1 season 1 and 2 autobot cars were and I prefer them be about the same size as them in both modes, so I went with X-Transbots. Also because I have pretty much given up on Fanstoys due to the over-engineered transformations that are almost never any fun. I have the whole XT set (except trailer of course) and I couldn't be much happier with them. Only minor complaint would be that Crackup's main color is a bit too flesh-like. Definitely wouldn't be happier having spent more than twice as much for a taller set that I'd never want to transform though.

I have both of these and still really enjoyed the video. Always enjoy hearing your perspective. I'm collecting both the FT and XTB, but, Crackrock really does feel more like a toy in comparison to FT. Thank-you for the time and effort put into such a video. Always appreciated.

Theres just no comparisons imb, Fanstoys is the clear winner. X-transbots for altmode, fanstoys for Bot mode and DX9 for combine mode. I know people like the scale of the X-transbots because he matches well with the Autobot car bots. But than they're just too small next to Gravestone, which is Massive. Than they also feel too small next to Megatron and Prime. But they do scale well against mmc ocular max Combaticons. The scales are just all over place. As always great review!!

Estou percebendo que o tamanho de alguns X-Transbots não são equivalentes aos MP. Pensei que o X-Transbot do Breakdown era na mesma proporção que os da FT. Estou errado? A proporção correta dos MPs, ou pelo menos mais próxima seriam os da DX9 e X-Transbots?

I went xtransbots pretty much because of the bot mode scaling with the mp autobots. I need to believe my autobots can fully pull off stunticon disguises. :)

While I love the look and feel of the Fans Toys figure, I still display the X-Transbots version on my shelf. I think it scales better with my other MP figures, and scale is just a big thing for me. Both figures are great though

Little disappointed it was these two, I'd have loved to have seen a good comparison video of FT's Spoiler and DX9's Montana. Don't get me wrong, I love my XTB Stunticons. But I've pondered getting the taller carbots from either DX9 or FT to get a better look.

They are both good figures. I am leading towards the X-Transbots Stunticons. However, I do love Fanstoys' version of the G1 Stunticons.

I like them both, gotta give FT credit for packaging/engineering, the car is close to XTBs/MP Alt Car size but the 'Bot is BIG. - Good Review ThnX I really do like the XTBs size, I don't think the Stunticons really are or should be any BIGGER than their MP counter Autobots. The one thing, although Toy accurate, that gets me, is the off white color of XTBs Crackup - I wouls have preferred the Snow White color such as FTs or DX9s.

The Fanstoys is beautiful, imo, whereas I'd call the XTB adequate. What I don't like about the FT stunticons is that they're just too big. In bot mode they just don't scale well at all with the Autobot cars. I can live with a small difference in scale, but FT really went overboard. A shame, because I do think it's the better looking figure when you look at it in a vacuum.

Great review and interesting comparison. I like the FT. He ist very solid and the materials are fantastic. But i love the XTB. Great transformation and he looks good. I got two of him and every other version, toon, g2 and toy of the ones which are already out now. Thank you for your thoughts.

Have you ever had Fanstoys loose ? And is it a marvel that the car is small and the bot is bigger , the car is wide and the bot is to big. Fanstoys makes a great bot , not saying that. Thanks for showing and giving us transformers content.
