If you compare non elite vs non signature the Bburago wins. For me if price wasn’t an issue the elite wins but not by much and not enough to justify the price difference.

I think it's a pretty good effort by Bburago. It's clear that in most details, the HWE is better, but it's good to have a choice, regarding price range. If the scale is spot on, there are no strange wheel gaps, and the model just looks good in general - which seems to be the case - it's an awesome deal. And what went wrong with the HWE luggage compartment? It's supposed to have those 2 fans there, it's just wrong.

I looked up Hot Wheels' LaFerrari reviews online and the quality control is, um, well - there's no control. One reviewer said it was decent but overpriced. The next said the parts were misaligned here and there and the decals were shoddy. The next review said it was an average model with a steep price tag. The reviews NEVER said it was "awesome" or "among the five best". That's making me wait until Ferrari let AutoArt make them. I won't buy BBR, the price is too steep. $500 is a lot of dough for a model.

I agree if the model is 18 times smaller, the panel gaps must be also 18 times smaller. Burago are great on panel gaps for the price they are. It's one of their strenght. Like they,ve always been weak on head and tail lights.

Stumbled across this video today, thanks for posting it, this was the exact comparison I was looking for. The Bburago does offer a lot of value for the money but the differences are enough for me that I plan to go with the HotWheels Elite version.

Good video shows in detail the differences of the two manufacturers, hot wheels win comfortably, has more fine and well worked details, such as headlights, details of the air intakes, engine and also who would not dream burago will this car, the rear spoiler that is hinged on hot wheels, so now remain more satisfied with my Ferrari LaFerrari of hot wheels, nice details that make the difference.

TYler SChecter there is a reason the LaFerrari by HWE is in my collection, because it is better the Burago one is way less detailed the front lights look trash on the burago and that's just one example of why hwe is better

Man, the HW Elite has HUUUUUUUUGE gaps, damn! The headlights are way better in the Bburago Signature too. The only complain i have with the Bburago is the fact sidewindows missing but, to me, Bburago wins for what they cost. I don't care about perforated grills.

In my opinion Bburago is the winner, every other makers comes after them. i still remember the original Bburago of Italy's manufacturing. This video cleared many things about Bburago fans that why they prefer their only choice Bburago. Thanks.

I got the signature LA ferrari for $26 and got the signature california for $16 1/18 bought 6 of them from amazon gave them as gifts for that price they were a steal .. but I would not spend more than $100 on hot wheels elite or minichamps auto art when you can buy a cmc model with 1500+ parts noble materials press metal from $215 to $400 I have 8 cmc models and they are all magnificent miniature masterpieces have no clue how they can make them so cheap! will never buy any other brand for classic models..

There are different Burago 1:18 models. You should have compared the 100 dollar one to the hot wheels.

this is the more expensive bburago one. called signature edition. the cheaper one is called race & play and doesnt come in that red box but one with a transparent cover

Hot Wheels Elite is more refined overall. But does it worth the 💰 ? No. Just go with matte black version from Bburago Signature.

HW elite is more detailed. I liked the different shades of red used in HW, BBurago on the other hand have stucked on 1 or two shade of red. And making the character decals more light makes HW closed to the real car design. But the more worthy is the ferrari brand itself, better work it hard to get the real deal 1:1 scale

I know its a 3 year old video, but i have to say the HWE is trash for its price. 1. Quality Issues. At a much higher price point you would expect it to be flawless, but no. I seen ALOT of complains about this model having paint issues. 2. Moving parts. Once again at that price point, you would expect the HWE to have moving parts, but no. I seen a review somewhere that only the doors open. Bburago can have its door, hood and engine to open. I was expecting you to compare them with the opened features but no. Biasness i guess. 3. 1 HWE can allow you to get 2 bburago signatures, 4 race and play. Overpriced. No carpetting interior either i think. People who have the HWE will definitely praise HWE because they know themselve they paid alot for that. They cant accept the fact that bburago, at a cheaper price point, made a higher quality model. Naturally, they keep forcing themselve to like the HWE so that they will feel its worth the bang($$$) Thats the truth.

I have some hot wheels elite ferraris and some of em have developed paint fading, others have cheap plastic or resin door hinges that snap easily. regarding point 2., hot wheels makes a cheap version called heritage or foundation and an expensive version called elite of most of their ferraris. the cheap ones retail for about 55 dollars, the expensive elites go for 100-200. this one is the elite where everything opens. did you watch the video in full? he compares them with open parts about two thirds into it. 3. the elites have carpeted interiors but you are right about the price difference. I only buy the elites if they are on sale and drop below 80

Bburagomodels are always closer to 1/19 scale which is why I only buy autoart or at least welly fx for aventador and HW elite for ferrari (or Kyosho) I dont think bburago have ever done a good model, ever. their biggest joke ever though was the 88 countach lol.

+Tommy Orr Jr Yes. And Huracan by Bburago is great example of these ''1/19'' models. I bought Aventador by FX and i'm very disappointed. Front bumper has completely different colour than model. It's hard to not see it.

+Tommy Orr Jr I'm getting Kyosho Huracan in green with black rims. I'm still looking for Jaguar XKR in blue and Aston Martin One 77 by Aa. But you're right. My models are in display and i barely open doors or boots. So i'm fine with resins and as you said: less chance of gaps.
