I had the original back in 1980. It felt like the proverbial hockey puck on the wrist and had super long straps. Didn't fit my 6-1/4" wrist at all.

the solar one is a better deal because of the price, solar battery, easier battery replacement, and i like date window only more than day and date

The originals would definitely benefit from a solar movement like the sne498 since it's so hard to change the battery. I love the cheap Tunas!

Jim it can be tough to change out the battery, but at the same time it's a good time to change out the gaskets. You kill two birds with one stone.

I think it the video the calipers said 46.5mm at the 3:37 mark.

@@razvanon You are right. Most people that do not know what a shroud is, tend call it a bezel. I do not have this watch anymore so I can not measure it for you. Sorry about that.
