Inside Luxembourg, transportations are fully free. Please note, ticket machine (like this one in 9:15, are for international transportations and first class, not free). Luxembourg trying to export his free system outside this border. Since 2022 it's also free for French cross-border.

"I am a Luxembourg citizen and a trainspotter in Luxembourg. I always ride trains or trams, never other types of transportation. Once, I went inside a train cabin and drove with the driver. The driver told me to always close the door to the cabin, but at 4:54, I noticed the door wasn't closed. The driver or conductor must have forgotten to close it."

The trams look like Siemens Combino trams but a very recent generation of them! Melbourne has them too but of an older model that was introduced in the early to mid 2000s! :)

Do you have to pay for the likes of the French and German services in Luxembourg or are they free until you get to the border?
