The sound isn't very crisp, and it sounds really airy. But that also might be the player, cause the brass sax had a similar sound

Similar as in not the same. The brass one was better sounding and brighter. I would still invest in a name brand brass one.

I feel the plastic saxophone isn't fluid enough. I feel the notes don't blend together instead they just sit separate

the notes blending together is up to the saxophone player's discretion with the use of tonguing the notes.

Spoiler Alert: the plastic sax costs almost the same like the real sax. If the price would have been half of the real sax I would say impressive.

Could be the mouth piece used in combination with the sax. I wonder if all Vibrato horns are plastic.

The Selmer Series III used in the video is about 6 thousand USD, the vibrato is well under 1 thousand. You can get brass saxes for far cheaper than the Vibratosax, though.

@@lukasalihein Well yes but cheap Chinese saxes are mostly pretty terrible and can fall apart before long. The plastic saxes are much more durable.

TopRacer 15317 yes puffing can risk damaging the sound while playing and you're never supposed to risk the chance of messing up the sound it's all about pitch , ton , and sound
