Dear sg only makes bats for kookaburra only in India, the one that you are holding is a shape that is made in Australia and UK only, I know this from personal experience as I have been trying to get my hands on this kahuna shape in India for sometime ...even directly from SG ....which they don't make here in India

Kahuna is known for its iconic mid middle - that helps all round play and a oval handle that helps top hand domination. Some of their player edition bats come with semi oval .. did something change with 2020. I heard u say semi oval Handle and mid to high middle ???

Both bats are great for allround play. Kookaburra players would preferably more towards timing

In my experience, you talked a little bit false due to the kookaburra was fully nocked on it on the other hand SG was packed with plastic. Thats why the sound was different. So, Think first to prepared a review (compairision).
