You seem nicer when being told what to do, its nice to see you being respectful of those who support you. You dont need to try so hard to be something you're not. Your drifting is so much better these days, its good to see.

I can't fathom an 11 year old driving a 600+ hp FD pro car and beating up on a lot of people. That's some anime shit, straight up. Then again, when I was in my childhood and teen years I was way better at a lot of stuff, gaming is a great example. While I might have more experience and knowledge now, my reflexes are not what they used to be. Kind of the same deal with pro athletes retiring around their mid 30s.
@samsonian3 жыл бұрын
I can relate, however I think your reflexes are better than you think but as you age your head gets in the way more and it’s tougher to stop thinking about extraneous things and be “in the moment” or “in the flow.” Do you meditate? If not, you might want to look into it if you are looking to clear your mind and improve your ability to stop thinking and therefore always living tomorrow or yesterday instead of TODAY. Yoga and martial arts also qualify if the word ‘meditate’ puts you off.
@cd5sircoupe3 жыл бұрын
@@samsonian You lost me after the first third of that message man. It's not about thinking too much or needing to meditate. I know I still got the goods so to speak (for the most part) but I've noticed that it's harder to do certain things than it used to be. I'm going to go back to the gaming example I mentioned. I can't compete with a 13 year old crack gamer. I'd never be able to be on the "professional" gamer level at my age. 15 to 20 years ago? Why not, not so much today.
@samsonian3 жыл бұрын
@@cd5sircoupe to each their own. I understand where you’re coming from, I wasn’t trying to completely refute your comment. Sorry if I offended you, it wasn’t my intention. You know you much better than I ever will, cheers!
@cd5sircoupe3 жыл бұрын
@@samsonian Don't worry about it man, didn't offend me at all. You've actually been a gentleman and a scholar compared to a lot of people I've talked to on the internet lately. But you're absolutely right, I know me better than any internet stranger can. I'm only a little older than Sam here, but I'm sure he could attest to the fact that certain things aren't as easy as they were when we were younger.
@samsonian3 жыл бұрын
@@cd5sircoupe it’s all good, we’re all humans even if we’re communicating via keyboard; if only some people’s children (hehe) could understand that instead of using such forums as an opportunity to unleash all their insecurities. If we all kept things civil we could even have heated debates and actually learn something from those we don’t agree with…a novel idea, hey? Well, no harm no foul and for me; I am in need of an appointment with the sports medicine doctor for stem cell injections to improve my sporting performance. Steel trap reflexes won’t help much if your knee is dodgy… 😉😅😅 🖖😎👍

Next up for the Chaser, aftermarket cams. Got to get more POWWWAHHH. The S15 should be better for comps, but you still do very good to get top 8. Hopefully we'll get to see Oka-chan giving you grief for the 'shame' you've brought on yourself. He'll then laugh & forgive you. As for a Burnout comp, I think the crowd would really go off for an Australian burnout demo. Especially some of the old Corollas.
@samsonian3 жыл бұрын
I was going to say it might be a good idea to look into getting a quick change rear end to guarantee you always have the right gear ratio for the course you’re competing on… Other than that, great job; you performed well and even though you lost in the first round of eliminations you qualified well and got valuable experience! Looks like you might need a checklist or reminder taped to the steering wheel to check you have the right tires on the Chaser! Cheers! 🖖😎👍

19:55 How amazing that 4 in Japan means death... Because here in Korea even though the pronunciation is completely different it also means death. In Korea "Saa" means death or if you count iL, ie, Saam, Saa (1,2,3,4)> I find it so crazy and amazing that so much is the same yet so different. I can't wait to go live there for a year.
