We are back at it with the competition engineering 8 point roll bar and we bought a #harborfreight drill press to make the job a little easier. Definitely not a how to video but it shows if we can do it so can you!

Good work !! I have a lot of work to do on my Demon, but putting a cage in it is in the plans. A little down the road. Just trying to learn what works on your install. Then I can make my own mistakes (lol). Trying to copy some of your suspension work !! Just an old guy with my old Dodge doing things much slower now. Thanks for sharing all of this work. 👍

less than half of the hole saw. remember your deduction is only 1/2". the center of 1.5 schedule 40 pipe is 13/16 and the saddle only runs about 3//8" from the outside diameter to the center. not the while 13/16

@@jerayracing yessir, that was my intention as it was yours. Small little tips like that saves people tons of headache. Round things are hard to measure and having a standard measuring point and deduction cuts out all the guess work. I personally hate to feel defeated by something and piping/tubing copes will most certainly make someone who has little to no experience feel that way when they cut the same piece long, then short, then with a 1/2” gap in the cope….. then position weld. The best wire to use is a Lincoln 71m outershield .045 with 75/25 gas backer. It may wormtrack once in a while, but it lays flat, makes a clean, splatter free weld, and you can weld position with it. Solid wire stands up too high and splatter is everywhere. Anyway, I hope my $.02 helps someone
