I hope in future Archery competition videos...they do a split shot, (two views , simutaneous) with the archer, and another shot on the target getting tapped.

I shot the U.S. Indoor National Championships at Las Vegas in 1967, placing 5th in the Amateur Men's Division; and placed 1st in the team Championships while competing on the Easton Arrow Co. team.

Modern archery does not require the use of thumb to pull the bowstring. Hence Ekalavya can be called father of modern archery.

Lots. Of ancient techniques didnt use thumb draws. That was mostly mounted archery
