WOW , that podcast had me from the word go. I started 3D in 1980 and it literally consumed my life. I finally got good enough in the 90's to compete in NABH ,IBO and ASA. I was shooting back when Randy Chappelle , Randy Ulmer , Joella , Susan Thompson and Kim Zehr was the big names. I remember drawing Tom Crowe as a shoot of partner at one event. I managed to win 2 National titles before a concrete screed was dropped on my right shoulder and gave me the same problems that Dan experienced with not being able to hold a steady pin.....so after 30+ years I lost the love of my life. Being able to watch ASA with Dan and PJ on the Sportsman Channel sure brings a spark to my life of something I loved so much. I sure wish I lived close to Dan so I could visit with him. I hear the FIRE BURNING when Dan speaks of Archery. Thanks PJ for making this Podcast and sparking up a love of archery I lived for so many years. I pray that someday our sport will finally be as big as Golf tournaments are.

I enjoyed the podcast Darrin. I just turned 72 and all I want to do is shoot a bow. I played golf in high school and had the good fortune to play golf in college BUT…I still love golf but have NO problem putting my clubs down and begin shooting my Elite result. I just love it. Wish I hadn’t started so late.

WOW. WHAT A GREAT, HONEST, OPEN, HUMBLE, AND FANTASTIC interview with a great guy. He seems like a guy you could sit and talk with. A passionate, professional archer who is an excellent representative of the sport, and a great mediator with PJ. I loved this interview and enjoy listening to this team. What great Podcast. I can only imagine trying to switch to left handed full time, even though I shot some left handed as a kid with a double-sided long bow. Darren is class act for sure.

What Darren just said is completely the truth that's what we need we need ASA all around the United States and said only 6 of them we need to drive it up and get way more of them Also more pro shops to really help and teach people what is what to buy if they wanna do this if they wanna do that and then coach you the whole 9 yd I want to open a shop so bad man

And crazy thing about it is Dan said that it was 49 or he shot it for 49 and a 1/2 I have and target ended up being like 50 yd or 51 no 50
