I absolutely love this in part because of Myles' acting. You can tell that he, as the angel taking away Briar, he's trying to do his job but is also sympathetic. Throughout it he's like trying to give them their moments while also speeding it along.

Why do we need to bring dance moms in this 🙄 their talented girls on their own journey, and these dancers as well. There is no need to define what real “dancers” are or compare, cuz from the looks of it, they are real dancers.

bebitos kaktus I totally agree but you don't have to be rude ,it wasn't their fault they were trained NY Abby since they were babes ! The enhance is so beautiful but her leaps weren't great ! If you have great guy dancers it's easier to do great lifts and they were great and she was beautiful! I watch it like ten times in a row and it made me cry ! Maddie hasn't been dancing dance mom's style in a long time ,but chloe and Kendall are ! ANYWAY I'M WATCHING THIS AGAIN ! GOD BLESS ! Rachel Cole

bebitos kaktus why do you have to bring up dance mom's this ghastly nothing to do with it ! Maddie hasn't danced like a dance moms dace mom since she left ,so stop criticizing her dancing and Kalanis dancing when it has nothing to do with it at all ! I enjoy watching Maddie now that she has totally changed ,but I was blown away by this dance it made me cry ! When I commented on it I was one of the first ones ,I never even thought about dance mom's, why are you so bitter towards them z, I mean I can see Chloe and Kendall they have regressed so far! I love the amount of emotion and consideration in the characters for this dance. You can tell that the girl and guy in dark clothing are together but she is is sick and the guy in the white is the angel (I know that’s already in the comments but I noticed something else from a theater point of view) the eyes of her boyfriend are on her the whole time, she is conflicted between the two and finally the angel is barely looking at her rather looking away, he is only looking when he is trying to give compassion to the couple. That small detail made all of the difference for me. That’s a phenomenal thing that gets looked over so often.

+Ciara Gosnell I agree! Everyone always talks about Myles and Briar (which is understandable because they're absolutely incredible) but Devon rarely gets the recognition that he deserves. Not only is he amazing with characters, but he also has amazing technique, strength, power and grace. I believe he would also be a very reliable partner as well and feel he should be credited for that!
@SashaA_marie7 жыл бұрын
Elaine Dempster really? I watch him through out the performance. The way he always caught her so effortlessly, never losing his grace. He added so much to the performance. Held onto her like she really was the love of his life, trying to cage her in his arms, hiding her away from the world. The size difference was also a nice effect though it was probably unintentional. It was like he was trying to cage her in and protect her with his body but in the end he was left helpless as the routine showed. Honestly one of the most beautiful stories i have ever seen. Wish i had the opportunity to pursue dance, the world's most diverse language. These individuals are undeniably talented and pray they never stop😌

This is art pure art. The first time I watched it I though myles was stealing her away but in reality he does everything he can to leave briar with Devon. Throughout the dance Devon only lifts her implying he's fighting to hold her up but myles is the one she dances and jumps with she wants to be free but wishes she could hold on. It's a tale about Devon not briar.

I love that without knowing you can interpret this dance anyway you want or whatever feels right in that moment. I’ve watched this like five times and come up with a new story Everytime. My favorite being an angel trying to rescue an abused woman, that pull that survivors feel is so real and so powerful. And it feels like you can see it here. Where one second she’s trying to leave and the next she’s being pulled back in. Abusers are masterful manipulators. And people still fail to try to understand how hard it can be to leave. But that’s just one story I could see. I’m sure they have a different one and other people see different ones. It’s just beautiful the way we can interpret dance. This was so poetic and absolutely beautiful.
