Do you think gun skill is more important than position? Also I always find myself in semi-pro scrims grabbing really good late game positions, and we are good with our rotations. But we keep choking even if we have the most advantageous positions. Like sometimes teams will push up and we just lose on the angle fights. Also, another question I have is should we retract our splits once we are in the end game and play off each other? A lot of our problems are like we are running splits in the end circle and then one of us get knocked and our whole split is compromised because the enemy can shoot us from where our knocked teammates are.

Obviously depends on the circumstance, but generally yes, you recall splits after circle 4 at the latest and play off each other as 4 through the end game. In fights numbers advantage is probably the most important thing, so losing people is the easiest way to lose in the late game. As for gun skill being more important that positioning, my answer would be that no, it's not more important. However, the reality is that unless you have equal skill to your opponents, gun skill can and will overcome good positioning. It's really not a question of one or the other. If you are getting to the late game and feel you are losing fights, either your positions are not as good as you think, or your need simply needs to grind up levels in your gun skill. Also just want to point out that just because you shouldn't be "playing splits" in GENERAL does not mean that you shouldn't be controlling area, because you absolutely do need to. I just say that because you should have a mentality of playing together as 4, while controlling as much area as you can without getting flanked.

Xanth thank you so much for your advice. Do u think you can release a video regarding how pros use smokes or utility? I really enjoy your channel and it’s helped my team a lot!

@@samueljin7266 Not planning on releasing anymore PUBG vids for the time being but I can summarize here. Smokes can be used in a few contexts, most importantly as cover when trying to revive, push, cross an open area, or play an imperfect terrain position. When reviving, if you aren't in a building, or absolutely safe, it's generally good practice to simply drop a smoke on top of the person you're reviving. The BIG exception to this is in close range fights, because the smoke will tell the enemy team exactly where they should throw their grenades. When throwing smokes to cross an open area, throw the ones you want to expire last the farthest away, and PRACTICE the distance of throws in solo training so you can deploy them quickly and effectively. Crossing an open area is generally the same as this. When playing an imperfect terrain position, most often in late game like circle 5+, you may find yourself needing to play a position that has one angle open to enemies. If that's the case, you'll need to keep that side constantly smoked off until they are pushed out, or you can make another play (or you run out of smokes lol). Generally you want to avoid situations like these, but I've seen times where this is the only play you can realistically make. Lastly, smokes when you are pushing a building can be really effective. If there's a team in a compound you want to push, smoking the bottom floors angles is extremely effective. If you smoke the bottom windows/doors, often the only angle your sniper has to watch is the top floor while 3 teammates rush the building, or something to that effect. Frag grenades are pretty self-explanatory. Generally you use them for finishing knocks, or forcing enemies to move out of a campy position. If there's an enemy behind a tree and you want him to move out of cover, frag grenade. Same idea with other forms of cover.

Which rotation is better edge or centre ?
@Xanthios732 жыл бұрын
Dependa on lobby meta and location but until circle 5 generally if circle shifts to you, center. If circle shifts away from you, edge.

Hey, do you think you can coach (minimal) my team? I have a pubg mobile team and we could really use your help. I know the gunskill and stuff don't apply but I think rotations still apply because the maps are the same. I know you are probably busy but it shouldn't take too much time. I am thinking I could just send you the map image and mark where we went and what went wrong. Or if you have the time could u watch our videos?
