In theory this is a big revelation, but I think it comes too early in the game to have a big impact on people. I think the latter revelations (eg related to Yuna and then Tidus) are more fun to watch as far as reactions go (I remember watching Pekora and Noel and they both cried quite a bit during those scenes). Regardless, thank you for the translation!

I personally think Auron revealed it at this stage in the story is exactly as Auron stated, it's better for him to know now, then in a critical situation. It's also a way for Tidus to come to terms with Sin being Jecht at his own pace. We saw how Tidus took the news of what happens after Yuna ends her pilgrimage to get the final Aeon, so in a way, Auron wasn't wrong. He'd most likely learn of Sin being Jecht during a fight with Sin and the last thing Auron and the group needs is Tidus losing it.

Since we're on that topic, I'm a Sephiroth main on Dissidia 012. Both him and Cloud are probably the only characters I've grinded to Lvl. 100 while neglecting the others. (From what I remember, my top 3 highest Lvl. Characters are Sephiroth, Cloud, Tifa. I've completely neglected the rest. 🤣) Edit: I suddenly remembered another one: Lightning. I love her gameplay so she's like my favorite from the protagonist side (mainly because of her design. And my only reason for grinding for her Lvl. 😅)

@@angkunehonghindimakali My mains are Squall and Cloud, the latter is probably the easiest character gameplay wise and his attack can easily connect albeit with slow start. But you can defeat the flaw after learning his chain attack. The other is squall, he can deal a lot of damage but his attack is hard to connect due to being a dedicated close range melee fighter. I'd say, I main him but he's not playable before getting Thunder Barret which is his bread and butter.
