FINALLY!.. we unlock BABY V'GER!!.. er.. the COMPILER SCIENCE DREADNOUGHT!
This ship is the 13th Anniversary Event reward and was such a outta left field ship to offer BUT we are happy to have it added to the fleet!
We build it out using the DIGITIZER PLASMA TORPS that you can get for FREE for just doing the latest episode FUJIWHARA EFFECT. We got a full set of torps & beams but we decided to go with the torps first due to the console & trait it comes with.
As always we do this for fun and I indeed had fun flying this ship.

I would say this ship is more visually 'worthy' to be a lockbox ship than some of the ones they've had recently.

I got the ship and I love it's weapons. Just wish it was twin array as opposed to single array digitizer beams.

I just got the ship a few hours ago, it's a lot of fun but I'll need to run the mission one more time to get ALL digitizer weapons for her.

Yeah been doing the Omega particle collection on two characters everyday. This ship is interesting. Just don't try to have it do a 180 without some type of help! 😆 Evasive maneuvers or a competitive impulse engine. I prefer the engineering impulse engine, I just pop A2SI for it. Plus that power only has a 15-second CD

Yeah the trait has potential. Especially for plasma builds. The console is utter trash though, since it transforms the entire ship to look just like one of the lightning balls from the trait or the torpedo. Which makes it extremely confusing. If the console would just spawn 3 autonomous digitizer balls seeking out enemies, it would actually be useful.

@@axelhopfinger533 I treat it as a "Get out of Jail FREE" card lol. If I am going to blow up (casual player), I use it. Makes me invulnerable and fast with 4 decoys lol. I can go heal and then get back in the fight.

2 days til i get my one. I can't wait for my Xbox captain to lay hand on it. About the themed toon, i told this before but i make it more detailed today, i guess it counts that i named my first toon V'ger (my new and first PC toon is V'Ger also I realized Ger is often used by German based players to indicate their location which in my case is Germany... Unintentionally...😅). I build up Illya Te' V'ger (didn't checked spelling and wanted some "alien enough looking spelling") to be sort of parallel (mirror) universe V'gers grand grand child, in which V'ger looked for like-minded individuals like William T. Decker. I thought, that if Ilia is such an exact copy of a Delta, maybe she also can somehow create offspring, they most likely looked for some form to evolve further after their amalginaton (and dang Paramount we need Alpha canon for Delta...). So i kept the delta hairlessness mixed in some Human, Vulcan and saurian DNA bought 7of9 outfit, grabbed my free Terran outfit set from the Xbox store, made it all silvery, pretending it to be her living metal shell, learned how play the game and got directly assimilated in my first round of ground combat and killed dozens of times in space by Borg... So my Headcanon was V'ger can't be destroyed it's just digital Data i print myself another copy... Yeah and that assimilation thing ... Well now she is some sort of highly evolved cybernetic with some Borg downgrades (file corruption?). I tried using romulan plasma Torpedos because of their similarities. But well it wasn't very effective. So the only build that worked for me was, spamming distractions and teleporting mines. So i came up with a mine/pet build on my own before i even understood anything about boosting your damage output, builds or knew about the KZbin STO community, etc... and it worked good enough. I said to myself that the mines would make a good enough probe replacement. On ground i first used the Sompek lighting before switching to mirror Kumarkes Symphony of lightning as a probe replacement, now i have the V'ger probes too. And honestly thanks to my choices of Backstory, before even knowing much about STOs story and which direction it will take... (I play for around 3-4 years by now) it just felt as it was ment to be. Family affairs also explains WHY Ilia wanted to talk to us.😅 PC V'Ger just started with this event and runs around in the TMP Outfit, because I'm not planning into dumping much money into the game again, also i like the Similarities to the original Ilia

i have mine finally but its a bit boring like the other alliance ship. it sucks you can't visit other areas like crew area and engineering etc . i wish it had 2 shuttle slots instead of one, also

I really don't like your torpedo build I don't use a torpedo build I have three torpedo dresses beams my ship is more powerful yours

That's ok.. ty for the comment When I do builds it's to share and that's ok for yourself or others to not like it There are plenty of Caps out there that have more powerful builds than me and that's ok as well
