Personally working in this industry there is a few thing that needs to be understood. There is a back of house(people preparing the food) and a front of house( the face you see, waiters and managers. Tipping includes mostly front of house. When you tell an establishment that their food is horrible, the back of house takes the slack for that, and its not fair. Restaurant etiquette is a underestimated system and protocol. If you have an issue address your concerns at the moment hen you are unhappy, product, wages and overhead expenses is what makes most businesses go down.do not take for granted what it means for people to work in the service industry, its stress full and mostly unrewarding. Making people in the service industry stress out and leave them a great tip is not the tip of the iceberg. Consider this

A lot of people are already nice to other people, but we still need to care about animals. Some animals mind their own business and people kill it. Some people hunt animals for fun. But there are nice people in the world. I just hope there won’t be those types of people that hunts and kills animals for fun, I also hope that people don’t build too much, if they do, then there won’t be any wildlife left. We are also polluting a lot in the air, and the ocean has a lot of plastic and trash floating around. But at least the world isn’t lost yet, there is still hope. I do think we need to adapt, if people keep polluting, chopping down trees, killing, I don’t know what will happen, but it’s definitely not going to be good. Animals were here first, and I think we should respect more of the animals that are minding their own business or being forced to adapt. I know there are a lot of people that help animals, but is it enough from keeping them from being gone forever?

Yes...I've went to a restaurant before and when the waiter/waitress asked if the food was to my liking I answered truthfully....however when it comes time to tip I rate the performance on the service..not the food.
