Encore un ignare qui ne maîtrise pas son sujet, mais qui ose articuler des clichés, en anglais, par-dessus le marché ! À la mort de Dieudonné, donc à l'avènement de Louis XV, la dette de la France s'élevait à, au moins, 2,3 à 2,4 milliards, soit bien plus que ce que connaîtra Louis XVI, même au pire de son règne. En sachant d'ailleurs que l'héritier de Louis XIV était encore plus jeune et moins bien préparé à régner que son petit-fils. Le pire, c'est que 114 crétins t'ont approuvé, sans la moindre idée des conneries que tu as écrites. Même dans l'histoire de France, les Français sont mentalement colonisés par l'interprétation qu'en donnent des descendants de cow-boys incultes, à supposer que tu sois Ricain. Et l'abruti qui osera me rétorquer que Louis XV eut, pour le seconder, le Régent, puis le cardinal de Fleury, je leur balancerai Maurepas, mentor de Louis XVI. Et, qui plus est, Louis XV n'avait que 5 ans, son successeur presque 20 !

As someone falsely accused by his enemies of haughtiness and living an extravagant live at the expense of his people, the king here displays a profound example of humility and an ardent love for his people. Even after some of his subjects unjustly usurped his power, stole away his entire life, held him and his family hostage, mocked and mistreated them, put him before a rigged trial, and finally decided to kill him out of hatred for who he was and all he represented, how did he respond? Rather than becoming fearful, bitter, or vengeful (as lesser men would), he instead softly reiterates his love for his people, forgiving them for the crime they are about to commit, praying that God will not punish them, and even offering to lay down his life, if only it will extinguish the hatred that had been riled up by the bloodthirsty amoral avaricious masonic revolutionaries. How could such a display of love as this (which so well reflects the love of Christ for all men--even His enemies) not bring one to tears? All the best.

Jamais Louis XVI ne donna l'ordre à ses troupes, les gardes suisses notamment, de faire feu sur la foule, il s'évertuait à répéter qu'un Roi ne doit pas faire tirer sur ses peuples (au contraire des révolutionnaires). Il n'a pas vidé les caisses du royaume contrairement aux idées reçues, la France était en déficit de 162 millions de livres (l'équivalent de 60 millions € d'aujourd'hui, pas les 3000 milliards que l'on connait de nos jours 😁). Erreur, le traité de Paris de 1783 suivi du traité de Versailles de la même année restitua pleinement les droits du Royaume de France dans le monde et lava l'affront de la guerre de 7 ans. La France se réinstalla arbitre du continent et 1ère puissance mondiale. on mésestime le règne de Louis XVI dit Le restaurateur de la liberté.

@@Ringoose554 C'est exact, stationnés au champ de Mars ce qui n'empêcha pas, quasiment jour pour jour 1 an + tard de célébrer la fête de la fédération sur le même champ de mars, un certains 14 juillet 1790. Au vu la Terreur, des guerres de la convention et du génocide vendéen, le roi ne pris sans doute pas la bonne décision en ne donnant aucun ordre de mater cette révolution (qu'il aspirait pourtant depuis 1787 et ses grandes réformes bloquées par la noblesse et quelques bourgeois). La convention profita d'ailleurs des réformes engagées par Louis XVI. La révolution française naquit par des pamphlets obscènes et mensongers, des rumeurs et des on-dit, comme ce fameux garde du palais donc aucune preuve historique ne fait mention ni même aucun autre témoin. @@mitternachtlowe Neither Louis XVI nor Maximilien Robespierre were the authors, believe it or not. The complaint was written by Royalists who were close to Louis XVI during the Revolution. It is likely that either Marat, Desmoulins, or even Napoleon wrote the parody [Robespierre's words], but nobody know who in fact wrote the parody. However, the lines of Louis XVI are the only ones with a verifiable source. However, I forget the name of the Royalists who wrote the complaint, but they were those who were close to the King.
