Today's topic will be about fruit and vegetable purees that babies eat during the transition to the first complementary food. When giving children fruits and vegetables, we must not forget the 3-day rule. You introduce little by little every day until your baby's body gets used to the new food you started, until it fully absorbs it. Zucchini, cauliflower, broccoli, potato, carrot, pumpkin, avocado, apple, banana, tangerine, orange, quince, strawberry, feijoa, mango, pomegranate, etc.
The most ideal food for a baby up to 6 months is breast milk. For an exclusively breastfed baby, it is more advisable to start complementary foods from 6 months.
Mothers are often in a hurry and want to taste all the food in a short time. Do not rush, give your baby time to get used to each food you give. Start with one, maximum two new foods a day. After the baby gets used to different types of food, increase the amount and variety of foods. Let's not forget that the main food of our little one is breast milk and artificial food that replaces breast milk, and these 2-3 months will be just a tasting phase for us.
Good luck to the babies.
Note: It is recommended to consult a pediatrician first when starting complementary foods for babies.
