Italian grammar for everyone with subtitles in multiple languages
In this video lesson we talk about personal complement pronouns.
We define what they are and the functions they perform in a sentence, namely those of:
direct object
term complement
indirect complement.
We also discover that their forms are two:
a strong or tonic
a weak or dull one.
Thanks to the tables we clearly report the different strong and weak forms for the three singular and plural persons (me, you, him, it, them, etc.) (mi, ti, lo, gli, ne, li, le , etc.).
We then talk about how and when we use the weak and strong forms and respectively as a function of which complements.
It also deals with the pairs of unstressed pronouns (me lo, te la, ce li, gliene, ve la, etc.): which pronouns form them, when and how they are used. We also report a clear and precise outline of all their forms.
Separate video lessons are dedicated to subject personal pronouns and reflexive pronouns.
The specific characteristics of the personal pronouns subject, complement and reflexive, possessive, demonstrative and identifying, indefinite, relative, interrogative, exclamation and numeral, are analyzed in the video-lessons dedicated to them. All the videos are present in the playlist: "PRONOUNS IN THE ITALIAN LANGUAGE" 👇
