Thanks for your query. Generally, I don't clean any of my coins. However, when there are fingerprints on them or some little orange-brown spots, then I use soft cotton buds to remove them. As a rule, you should avoid using water, soap or other corrosive substances, because it might cause the coins to change colour. Neither should you use substances to make them more shiny, because it tends to lead to unnatural colours. Most collectors want their coins to be in the original state, whether uncirculated or circulated.
