The Steppe populstion didnt appear on Indian landscape until 1500bc and not before. The river known as the Saraswati had become extinct by 1900bc The iVC had also disappeared by 1900bc. Efforts to link the IVC with the river Saraswati and the steppe Vedic culure, seems impossible given their respective status at the time concerned. It is to be noted that both the Indus Civilization and the river Saraswati had long disappeared 1900bc when the Steppe Vedic people arrived in India beginning 1500bc and not before
