Yes as a bca fresher maybe you are not eligible for these companies but after having few years of experience and having really good knowledge in your domain, Then there is no degree criteria for big companies . Revenues are not getting generated from your degree it's from your work. I myself a bca graduate but earning a good amount of salary 😁

If you don't seem to have a balanced financial stability, you should better go for bits pilani and other institutions which pays for your mca + they offer you a decent after bca job so basically mca + job and you can get placed from there

You can try for mca by self study if your maths is good since nimcet can be cracked by self study itself and to pay the college fees once you get into any nit, you can always apply for student loan in the college and it won't be any problem.

i dont agree with timing that btech is 4 yrs and bca+mca is 5 yrs so choose btech.. most of the students take a break after 12 for preparation of AIEEE or JEE and not all go thru it. so there is larger population opting for btech after 12 with one year gap.. as compared to small number of ppl opting for bca+mca so I think both of it takes 5 years. and in most universities.. in the syllabus for MCA, there is one last semester reserved for students to go for 6 months long internship or training.. so ultimately bca+mca becomes just 4.5 years. and one extra semester isnt too long either. u can opt for bca+mca instead because the syllabus is bit relaxed as compared to computer science. there hardly any maths or engineering maths that you need to study. there is no chemistry or physics subjects either like in first sem of btech. but it also depends on ur parents when they wish to see the Engg. prefix in ur name after btech

It could be worth it if u do this from a good college i mean a college where placement is good and a tier 2 or 1 type college because from tier 3 type college you have to go for offcampus rather you can get placement very less, also knowledge is good. top canadian universities require 4 year undergrad degree, if you do mca also u become eligible for masters in cs or ph.D in top unis. Some bca people first worked a couple years in India in their desired field (like software developer or ui/ux designer) and then went for job in canada directly. Or you can also further do some diploma degree in canadian college (different from university) to get 1 year work permit and more points for pr.

@Abhinav Dayal practice a little bit of math for that entrence exam, as math is not compulsory is web or app devlopment. If you are interested in machine learning then maths is must. I will suggest you to study for that entrance exam and get a good College and flourish your career in web or app development.

@Abhinav Dayal Don't think much, math is just to crack the entrance exam. And don't decide at the start that mei nahi kar paunga, nothing is easy and coding isn't easy too. The point is, you have to give time to everything which you wanna master. If you are weak in maths because you haven't practiced much. And that entrance exam math isn't that difficult tbh.
