There's an option in the settings that you can activate to show the cover "shields" even before combat starts. I found that very useful when preparing an atack :-)

Very good guide.. thank you very much! One question though.. when you first engage enemies in a sector, there is usually a goal for the engagement, e.g. "Merc A has to kill 2 enemies at point blank range". What is benefit for meeting this goal? Are there any penalties for not meeting it?

The longer you hire a merc, the cheaper the daily rate.

I think special attacks (brutalise, etc) are so underrated! I think a vid on those would be amazing

they should have hired you to do the tutorial for this game, because the lack of anything like this and the terrible tutorial (if you can call it that) that they implemented was about as useful as a chocolate fire engine. so thanks for making this.

@@govimodo9231 Airfields are no longer a thing afaik. You plunder, loot, craft and buy everything on the map now.
