Did my fronts last week, genuine discs and RTS pads. Weirdly only 2 of the 4 pads had metal clips on the back. Is that normal?

I'm not too sure mate, did the pads with the clip go in the piston or in the caliper?

I'd say they're okay mate, as long as the piston side is clipped in👍

You went to all that effort fitting new piston’s seals an all new hard wear really deserve’s a decent paint job 😂

I completely agree mate but i had to work with what i'd got🤷‍♂️ i mostly did it for the rebuild and new pads and discs so repainting them was just while they were off

I am too but i worked with what i had🤷‍♂️ i wish i had got more sanding bands for my dremel but i didn't think i'd go through them so fast
