I would suggest a walk-around video when you’re done with mods. You can layer your voice over as we admire the work. A 10-second walk around would be great for us to see if the mod is something the community would like to do in their Subarus. Keep it up; thanks for the videos.

I just put them on my 2024 Outback Wilderness, they fit and look really nice. It looks like you have more clearance under them when you look from the side. I think the plastic part you remove actually hangs a little lower then the skid plate. Definitely get them if you are on the fence.

If that's all you plan to do you really don't need anything. Maybe some lights for the A-pillar, but that's all you need for what you're mentioning. Don't go crazy.

I'm assuming, once the rivnuts are installed you can't really go back and reinstall the old trim since you've filled all the clip points. Not that I would, but if you decided you wanted a different slider and had to remove these, or you sold the car on and someone else wanted to remove them to go back to stock, you couldn't really do it.

You can. All you have to do is drill the riv nuts out with a slightly larger drill bit and the holes will then remain intact. The riv nut is smaller than the hole you placed it in so you can remove it without widening the hole it was placed. Hopefully that made sense.

Do these allow use of the full underside as a jack point? I’ve been looking at the afe power ones, but these may be even cleaner/tighter to the car like I’m wanting. Thanks!

They do! The pinch welds are protected by the slider, which allows them to be used as a jack point.
