I tried to do the floating leaf photos so many times and only now I learnt about taking separate photos and layering/blending them into photoshop. Thank you so much for this!

Pye. Dude! I always struggled with 'flyaways' before (for just the reasons you stated). What a great shortcut to 'disconnect' them. Thanks!

Great tutorial, brilliant result. You can actually see the contents of a layer with a black mask by reducing the density of the mask in the property panel. I find that quicker than duplicating the layer, and I just raise the density back up once I'm done.

My guy Pye, man I’m still working on getting it right in camera first but just looking at this gives excitement and dreading learning light room like that. I mean it’s a job all in it’s own and I want photography to be my second job. Sure if I make money and do very well I would love for that to be all I do. Either way can’t wait to get there

I don't know how you don't have more views lol. Every video you release I learn something new and useful and I've been following for about 3 years now lol. Thank you for the time and effort you put in to making these videos. So simple and informative. I do have a question, can you make a video on how to set images for Instagram and or Facebook. I run into the issue sometimes where my images don't look as sharp as when I was editing them or the originals. Thank you Pye! 😁👍

when shooting the images do you focus on the model and then switch to manual focus?

Definitely helps so that the camera won't accidentally track a falling leaf instead.

@robilikovszki33254 жыл бұрын
Hi. I would really appreciate some help. I got stuck where you adjust the strength of the radial burn. I have a mac: opt+click+drag. It just doesn’t work for me. I press option and click and when I try to drag, it drags the whole filter. It doesn’t adjust the strength. How to fix this? If someone knows please let me know. I will try to find out in the meantime. Thanks

I don't know why masking is such a PITA only for me damn ... ok can someone explain this without the jump arounds? After you mask one, what's the next step to get the other leaves to come in without double stepping with duplicates and such?
