Your content was very informative. Thanks, I was able to follow through on the light and dark theme. I think it is more appropriate to import the "RootStack" (which has the tab screens) into the "HomeStack" and not the other way around.

Amazing work man! But I think the system themeing may need a second look. I pulled up your code from your patron and ran it with iPhone 15 Pro Max iOS17 and it didn't change with the system. It was setting it to light regardless. I am interested in seeing your updates if you do get a chance to come back to it.

@@ToThePointCode update on this. Looks like nothing is wrong with your code. However, it may be worth mentioning somewhere in your video or in the info that the following lines must be removed from the Info.plist file in the ios folder 'UIUserInterfaceStyle Light'. This causes the app to override to light all the time. Once I removed those lines which apparently are showing by default in newer expo SDKs, it worked fine

Hello! I really love your coding videos. I have followed along a few times and i keep getting an error at the end of the video where if my alert message says "undefined is not an object (evaluating "_asyncStorage.AsyncStorage.setItem') . Im not sure why this is happening. Can you help?

Its definitely something to do with the storeData function in the asyncStorage file

Upon further research it has something to do with the AsyncStorage module. Please can someone help me fix this?

It looks like the package missing. So maybe: 1. Async storage isn't installed properly, install it again. 2. AsyncStorage hasn't been imported into the current file, ensure to do that with the correct package name/path.

@@ToThePointCode Ive gotten close to the problem, the store data function works but the read data function is the issue.
