Tomact version 10 is not working with jenkins. Use Tomcat version 9 it will work correctly with jenkins. I f anyone facing the issue with jenkins (not getting started) with tomcat version 10. This comment will help him/her.

As usual, this a great lecture among 100s of your other lectures. just wanted to raise it to the people so they know that when I downloaded java version 19 and tomcat 10, I restared my machine few times, opened all the security ports including 8080 which wasn't ever required at the stage, but in either case it didnt worked for me , then downloaded java 17.5 and Tomcat 9.., it is working fine not sure if there is a compatibility issue with those versions.
