Nice thing if your Sim dies from laughter is that their ghost will be a joyful ghost making all Sims in the vicinity playful, including themselves. Working hard, in any carrer, can also make your Sim get a burnout. Use a yoga mat from Spa Day to recover MUCH faster, up to 4 times faster : As soon as you start doing yoga, the time left for the dazed state or burnout will get cut by half. That revert to the normal amount when you stop. Then, the rate at witch the remaining time goes down is also twice as fast. So, if it would normally take 16 hours to get out of a dazed state, it take only 4 hour of yoga.

If you have Realms of Magic, a spell caster can brew a potion of Subdued Emotions. Any Sim who drink that potion will instantly remove any extreme/dangerous emotions, usually returning him to a simple «well» emotional state. If you have Jungle Adventure and get some emotional curse, like the Curse of Eternal Sadness, that potion will remove it.

Thanks for another great video, Petey! Another way to avoid death by Hysteria is to give a comedian Sim the Cringe trait (if one has the For Rent expansion.) One of the features of the trait is the inability to die from laughter. Additionally, they learn the Comedy skill (and Mischief and Video Gaming skills) faster. (info per the Sims wiki)

I've been using the plumbite crystal from Crystal creations to help get it done in one and the one that helps with creative skills help too I just have to remember to charge the crystals lol

I randomly came across this channel. Pete, i wanted to see you talking so I went to you're twitch and you sound way different. I wanna offer critique, so don't think I'm coming off mean. The way you read the script sounds.. well almost dull, limp, flat, it kind of drones on. Add some spice to it, zing it up dawg! Either way, good informational video. Oh and I subbed!

Hi Tom :), thank you so much for the feedback, and I completely understand what you mean. I do sound and come across quite different on Twitch where I am just freely chatting when compared to reading a script for a video. Being more emotive when reading scripts is something I've definitely struggled with and it's something I feel I am always trying to work on. I find it a little difficult because I feel like if I try too hard to be emotive maybe it's making the video seem overly performative, and I often think about what's the right balance. I definitely don't want to sound dull though, so I'll try make an effort to keep improving the voice and tone. Thanks so much for the comment :). I appreciate the feedback, it's really constructive and I think it's something I needed to hear (or read in this case lol).

There needs to be a rock music branch for the entertainment career as the career’s existing music branch focuses too heavily on classical music. Classical musician Steven Rune and his daughter, metal musician Serenity, are two different musicians with different styles (Steven prefers the violin while Serenity prefers the guitar).

For this reason I would recommend level 10 charisma for musicians in addition to level 10 in both piano and guitar (plus level 10 in singing and level 8 in media production provided the right expansions are installed).

Petey I need a video where you just tell me what to do with my sims if I don't have kids. I always default to that because at a certain point you have a romantic relationship and good work situation and money. I feel like this should be obvious but I'm struggling with my sims!
