There was an old TV program, I believe it was The Outer Limits, and it started out with a narrator saying "It is said that if you move one pebble on a beach, you change the whole pattern of the universe." Something like that. I used this to complement someone doing analyses of other planets the other day, but I could say the same thing to you, Brian, and to your colleagues like, Chris Dunn, because I am sure I speak for many people when I say that your excursions have moved things in our minds and by that I mean you have changed how we look back at the structures like the megalithic Osirian at Abydos in Egypt which are so astounding and incomprehensible when you pause to just think of how it was built, for instance. First, may we wish you Happy Holidays to you and your colleagues and your families and that 2024 is a great year for new discoveries. How much I would love to know how those structures were made! Fyi, an abandoned megalithic quarry "Yangshan" in Nanjing China, also have those strange nubs. The official story is that it was a quarry during 15th century, but I doubted it. It's much bigger than the unfinished obelisk in Egypt.

That was a nice tour, Brien. Thanks. Those those people certainly knew what they were doing. They had the man power and tools to do the building that they did. Talented people. I think they used teams of elephants to move the huge blocks of stone. My dad and mom wanted to go to Egypt back in the 80s, but Desert Storm was going on, and they weren't allowing tourists to go there. So my parents ended up going to Cuba. Which my parents enjoyed.

That water is at least 21 meters deep and when they tried to pump it out with 500 gallon a minute pumps, it never emptied. Thank you Brien for this, I am reading/studying Omm Sety's Egypt and this is very helpful. Omm Sety said the water had magical properties and was safe to drink.

How come people are allowed to simply walk over this "deep" water on footbridges? In the images in the film, it doesn't look very deep either. I was there on August 1, 2024. Unfortunately, you were only allowed to look at the Osirion from above. It was otherwise closed. "Closed". Otherwise, I would have taken a water sample and at least looked at how deep the water is. The water level definitely changes a lot, as you can see in various photos taken by people on Google Maps.

Yes, I noticed the "shovel marks" too. I had to think of a milling machine or a planer, a machine... I find the "shovel marks" very remarkable... they can also be found on other megalithic structures... Hier noch auf deutsch .. falls es falsch übersetzt wurde .. I remember it was build on a water source, but when i see this place i still feel like you can take a dive and find a bottom level and maybe more, And as for the colour of the roof this weird goldish colour i remember from a similair room ( not as ancient but some kind of luxury stone not from that mine ) it was at a mine in france, most notable from middle ages but definitly the romans mined there aswell, the room had a weird goldish soot on top ( also partly the walls that i dont see here ) they told it was from extracting minerals, they made ovens and some minerals are known to discolour a room or pot to gold like when using different minerals. i got no clue about mining and melting, but i heard this story and if its true melting minerals can leave a mark like that, the place seems old enough many silver bronze or gold could have been melted down there, leaving the weird discoloration of the stone.

6:22 Take a look at the wedges on both sides of the inner part of the "entrance". Looks like the left wedge was placed in direction from high to low while the right one goes low to high?? Somehow they still match up and everything seems to level out on top of it, their building technique is the holy grail!

When the openings are covered with the larger stones, then the smaller KEY peices can be figured and placed to complete the course. It's just basic stuff, no mistakes.

@@sancho8521 it goes beyond no mortar. You can cleary see the surfaces have been subjected to some process that gives the stone an almost hardened liquid appearance. My favorite pieces are the big long flat cut bottom ones, that magically fit perfectly over 3 or more columns. Amazing amount of skill to achieve! Someone needs to show me how that's done?

I want to know what is beneath the Pittsfield with water. Are those staircases down to more underground tunnels that are filled with water from what? It's not like it rains there. Is there a spring? Why haven't they been drained and it explored? Why hasn't this been explored and excavated in general? What very few people talk about when referring to this quote unquote Temple is it's buried below the rest of the pyramids meaning or maybe suggesting it's older than the pyramids that surround it. More interesting to me is that the architecture the stone masonry matches the megalithic buildings in Peru more than it does the building in egypt. They know nothing about this place and it pisses me off that it is not been further explored

It would be difficult to determine if the builders suddenly stopped working when we are looking at something possibly 10,000 plus years old. I can see signs of erosion and water levels at varied heights on the stone but not sure about finished versus unfinished surfaces. I heard about the theory of this site having and using water on another podcast. It looks as if the Egyptians ran into this structure when they were building the temple of Seti 1. The way the doorways are niched out and the huge blocks loom similar to what we see in Peru.

My theory is is that these temples around the world were built @ the same time and everything was wet. The perfectly (what appears to be cut or lasered) was done when everything was clay do to the flood then as time went on it turned into petrified stone. Idk My theory only.
