Complete guide to Apostille! How to get a document Apostilled in India?

To everyone watching this video, remember to religiously stick to the guidelines of the MEA. www.mea.gov.in/apostille-menu.htm The first step is to contact the RAC, and get your document authenticated by them. This can be done by an Assistant Collector/SDM or any higher level IAS officer in your state/union territory. If you get it stamped by someone not from your state/union territory, your document is not valid. The second step is to contact one of the outsourcing companies, and get the apostille. Without the first step, the apostille is not valid.

I intend to submit my degree certificate along with 9 transcripts. However, since there is no specific option to select the type of documents due to the pre-verification, should I categorize them under Certificate/Marksheet (Other) and proceed with payment for a total of 10 documents (degree certificate + 9 transcripts)? @bhattacharjee4322 You need to check if you're eligible for digilocker and if your degree is reflected on digilocker, you can easily proceed with the Apostille. Start with contacting the University and ask how to get your final degree/diploma on digilocker.

If your document was not issued in Belgium, than apostille is required for your document to be accepted by the Belgian authorities. Whether it is enough is not my expertise, but chances are that you need other documents like your passport, admission letter, confirmation of the Tuition fees paid etc.

@@kaurjasmin8653 If the country has signed the Apostille convention, then you need only Apostille. No need for HRD. If you are planning to go to a country, which didn't sign the Apostille convention, then you need HRD. For Belgium, no need for HRD.

1. Please ask the person/department/consulate where you will be submitting your document, what they need. They are the best people to tell you what they need and what you need to do. 2. Notary is the person authorized to perform acts in legal Affairs. One such act is called Attestation, where they verify your document.

Just call the company closest to your location, and visit them with your documents, explain to them that it is urgent and it shouldn't take more than 3 days to get the documents back.

Israel is part of the hague convention, please contact the recipient of your document to make sure if the SDM can act as RAC or not. For more information, refer to the MEA guidelines. To sum up, before contacting some Indian agent make sure to know the needs of the recipient.

Please call the Italian Consular section and ask them. As far as I know, you don't need HRD for countries which are part of the Apostille Convention, and Italy is a part of it.

If it is a University in Poland, you'll find all relevant information on the channel. If it is a University outside Poland, I will not make a video on that topic as it is outside of my personal experience.
