I made these videos to help the newbs, like me, to be able to propagate and take care of Drosera Burmannii in the simplest way possible. I am not an expert, far from it. I started taking care of Drosera Burmannii just last year when all the world closed because of the pandemic. So please bear with me if there are errors in my practice or it is not the best practice.

I have a Drosera Burmanii and I am also a newbie to these guys and it seems that mine is turning green when It came Bright red and does not have any dew on the leaves. Also not really putting out new leaves. Do these plants need a dormancy?

There are green variants. If it is red and turned green, that might mean it’s not getting enough sunlight. In colder regions, I believe they go through a dormancy phase.

Some use peat and perite. I personally never tried. Go ahead and try!

Hello I have a question seedling stage Has anyone of you grown these plants stage of sundew seedlings on. Drosera seeds ->Mini greenhouse 58 cm x 40 cm 1. Should we feed them manually at some point? as the domes are closed in their seedling stage to maintain humidity, leaving no access for any insects to get in. 2. Should we open the dome every couple of days for them to get new air?

I never really fed my sundews. Although I have tried feeding just for observation, and the sundews seem to react and feed on the insect. So up to you. I’m not familiar with domes, but keeping them close to maintain humidity is the point right?

Water with distilled water only. Tap water has minerals which the sundew don’t like.

3 days ago nilagay ko sa sphagnum moss yung seeds. Simula nung nilagay ko yung seeds di ko parin dinadagdagan yung tubig dahil di sya agad natutuyo, normal lang ba yun?

@@scpst1827 from experience, at least a week bago sumibol yung CP. Tapos depende po yung bilis ng pag sibol sa seeds na nakuha niyo if bago or luma. Meron ako binili Nepenthes seeds, nag amag na wala pa rin 😅

@@scpst1827 if consistent siya na basa as if hindi nag eevaporate yung water, baka po masyado shaded yung location. Pwede niyo i try other parts of the house.

Hello! Hindi ko nabilang pero siguro more than 6 months po. Next time try ko rin replant sa own pot per piece para lumaki sa 5 piso. Hehe.
