I’m hoping our next trip will include a visit to Yucatán. Cenotes, good food, and beautiful architecture all sound wonderful.
@ForTheRoadTravels2 жыл бұрын
Hola J Linn 🤗🤗 This state deserves much more tourism, has been overpowered by Quintana Roo (Where Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum are located). The food is the thing we love the most, but the people in Yucatan makes this state a gem in Mexico. Saludos J 🤗🥰

Woah we didn't think there were any pyramids that you can climb to the top of! We are adding Kinich Kakmo to our list! And yes Valladolid, we loved it there! We stayed there when we went to visit Chichen Itza. Thanks for sharing friends!
@ForTheRoadTravels2 жыл бұрын
Hola Amigos 🤗, Yes, there are still some of them you can still climb to the top! and we do not know if anytime soon these pyramids would be restricted to climb as well. 😥 but it's just an awesome experience be at the top and think about how these pyramids were built back in the days. Valladolid is so lovely, we love this type of cozy towns 🥰. Thanks amigos for watching and looking forward to meeting you soon 🤗.

Hola Viv 🥰, Aww thank you so much 🙏, this means the world to us 🥰. Yes, Sisal it's just becoming popular but still feels like a very quite beach town, if you have a chance you should visit is completely different than Cancun or Playa del Carmen. 😉 Sending you great vibes amigos 🤗🤗

@nasdanrose4802 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for sharing! Is it safe to drive around yucatan peninsula? Planning to a solo road trip for 3 weeks and I’m concerned about horrors stories ie carjacking and police scams. 😮
@ForTheRoadTravels Жыл бұрын
Hola *Nas* 🙌 Thank YOU for watching and commenting 🙏. Yes, it's pretty safe, you will see quite a few police or military checkpoints which is becoming very usual. We haven't heard anything about carjackings personally, but police scams quite a few stories; we always recommend not showing any signs of being rushed when they pull you over, and if they say the need to apply a "fine" because "X, Y or Z" you will tell them: Ok, I'd love to go to the police station to pay it, typically they want to get a bribe, but letting them know you're willing to go to the police station, they will not be able to do it, and in 99% of the cases will let you go. Hope this helps 🫶🙏

You guys were very difficult to understand sadly, because the video was pretty good. Maybe talk slowly next time.

You might not be used to listen another English accents that might be the reason. If you struggle with the speed KZbin has a fantastic tool where you can slow down the video. Thanks for watching and commenting.
