I never realized how many Retro figures they made. It's awesome seeing Hasbro Bret against Retro Austin, kinda makes me wish I had that Austin even though my Hasbro Bret is the older Hart Foundation one haha. The only Retro I own is Kane, he's MOC and he's a really cool display piece. Always love your videos man, really great work here!

Definitely bring them back! If Mattel doesn't, maybe Super 7 Could. Mattel only had like 5 different Molds. They made some bad choices In the way they used their molds. Undertaker & Kane looked great but They were to small in comparison to The other retro's. They should of just Used the same mold they used for Diesel for Kane & Undertaker it would Of been more accurate & give us a Removable hat for Undertaker. Mattel could of gave us some divas In the retro line as well as a referee

So Toys R Us going down in the US was one of the main reasons the Retro WWE line has stopped at the moment? Well that’s a big shame, as it did a pretty good job continuing and filling in gaps for the old Hasbro line.

HBK did have the worst head scan, no doubt, but the pants deco and the action were great. They need to bring these back with more legends in two packs, be it rivals or tag teams. If Hasbro made one, then Mattel should make a twin, just like Warrior, undertaker, macho man, Flair, HBK

I really hope they stage a come back for sure - I kept my fingers crossed for a re-release of Rick Rude, I always thought the Hasbro version was absolute garbage. I read Toys R Us was opening again in the states? Just recently....Its stayed open here in Canada but i haven't see these on the pegs anymore....some of them actually fetch really high prices on Ebay actually

It's been a fantastic idea to bring back to life this kind of figures, I have only a couple of complaints. The first one: ok, Mattel's Ric Flair is a lot better than Hasbro's, but in general Mattel figures look less realistic. For example, compare Ultimate Warrior from the two toylines: no comments. Plus, some figures like UW and Kurt Angle share this posture like they were sumo fighters, not wrestlers. Second complaint: still no Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero? Really? WTF?? That said, I like these new figures, especially Mankind and Daniel Bryan (very well done, seem Hasbro more than Mattel, I love them)

I sold an open Ric Flair for 140 bucks when I got two online when they came out on ringside collectibles for around 40. I’m not selling my MOC one til I’m ready to cash out baby! The 140 went to other figures I need like the SDCC Hulk and Zeus two back like come on.

The whole series was worth it for Diesel, and I loved that they did this. But in general, I was not a fan of how these figures were a little taller than the Hasbros on average, and reused generic body parts rather than bodies that were sculpted like specific wrestlers. Also, the Macho Man head sculpts just do not hold a candle to his original ones by Hasbro. All that said, I loved the Diesel, Brock Lesnar, New Day, Ric Flair, Kane, Undertaker, and Kevin Owens figures.

Like i know everyone loves these (including myself) but honestly I think the new Masters of the WWE Universe figures are a lot cooler than these. The distribution on these guys at first was iffy at best series 1 was plentiful series 2 was non exsistant I only found a rock at a ollies like a year later then series 3 shelfwarmed minus AJ who was impossible to find for me and after that i never saw them at normal retail again only finding them at discount chains ollies, 5 below, and Ross. Not to mention as the line went in the quality kinda felt iffy as well. So while I love them I think they're kinda overrated but in a good way

I'm an in box collector and liked the early sets with the nice clean card. I never bought any wrestler after the second wave because the cards look like crap modern toys that are there to promote the videogame. I can't speak for others but changing it from a collector series to a modern series with mostly modern wrestlers and the videogame promotion taking up so much of the packaging in my opinion killed off any hype the product had for in box collectors. It feels like so much wasted potential.
