I work with kitchen sales with ikea and this is one of the least priced kitchen remodels I’ve seen, she was in luck . It is affordable but it can get pricey. The custom countertops through caesarstone is affordable with many options if they service in your area.(only if you’re deciding to get your countertops customized) And if you don’t know where to start go onto the website and create a kitchen planner and possibly make an appointment with someone to sit down and discuss creating your kitchen. Such a helpful video to get a rough idea of the cost! Our kitchen is a bit bigger so we will have to think about how many cabinets we’d want to install or we could go with the IKEA island and open it up. IKEA has so many great options. This makes me hopeful we can remodel our kitchen sooner than later. It’s last on our list of remodels but I’d love an updated kitchen.

Your kitchen is beautiful! I love the cabinets! I am thinking of buying the bodbyn cabinets for my kitchen. How are the bodbyn cabinets holding up for durability? Does the off-white color have a yellow hue, or is it a true off-white? Have you noticed any yellowing with age? Thank you.

@@sflake02 Ikea's fee depends on how many cabinets you are having installed. Additionally, ikea only has contractors that they work with in IKEA service areas. So if there's no Ikea in your area, you'd have to find your own installer. There is no installer in my area. A contractor quoted me $60/cabinet box. I have 19 boxes, so my install would be $1140. However, other installers charge up to $120/cabinet box, which would be $2,280. Those prices do not include all of the trim work and extras. So you can figure $2K-$4K for installation.

If you do it yourself and in your spare time, it's free! Just do it instead of mindlessly using your phone for hours on end, so there is no opportunity cost.
