I used to fish indicators on every occasion. Nymphing ofcourse, but also while streamering. With streamers I think was possibly the most stupid thing I ever did. Two seasons ago I stopped using indicators (ofcourse the typical indicators for Čech or French nymphing I do use). And now I just catch more fish, and that simply is because the presentation without a indicator is much much better. Specially the surfacedrag has no more influence on the presentation. Now I have everything much better under control which means more fish. Greetings and tight lines from the Čech Republic 🇨🇿.

Thanks for commenting, Robin. We couldn't agree more. You certainly have much more control over your nymphs and have far less unseen drag when using various tight-line and euro techniques. Clear Thingamabobber for the win. Airlocks and Oros hit the water too hard, and airlocks have additional parts that get lost. Someone needs to make a thingamabobber with the oros locking system, that would be the best indicator on the market.
