A Medic needs a Battle Buddy, someone to stick with them and watch out for enemy as the Medic heals downed Soldiers. Too many times the Medic is left to do multiple roles, when simply having someone help them would make the job easier. Lot's of time, the rest of the Squad expects you to Rambo your way through tons of enemy to heal them, when usually you have to Solid Snake your way to the wounded.

Lots of GREAT tips! There’s only one I can think of that you missed: If you are using the med bag on yourself, and you get shot again, keep using that Med bag. 95% of the time that you are shot, you need to stop the bleeding, but if you were already holding right click with the bag when you were hit, top yourself off and worry about the bleeding when you need to.

@raptor2033334 жыл бұрын
Good guide, I even re/learned a couple things as a seasoned player. A couple of meta tips I immediately thought of are missing: your range of bandaging and healing is about ~2 feet. Meaning you can patch/heal through most walls if the downed player was hugging the wall thus reducing time and/or getting shot. It also means you don't have to be literally on the downed player to help, making that hard or under-fire healing happen. To actually add off that, a good etiquette to have IMHO is to always be off the person, as far as reasonably possible, so that: their FOV doesn't have your body and hit boxes in their face, reducing accidentally shooting you or movement freedom; de-cluttering space so teammates could move between you two, say in a building or not having to jump over two people prone; increasing your own safety by not exposing yourself as much.

Solid tips in this video for both medics and people being saved by medics. Don't call for medic, it only reveals our position and draws unwanted attention. Don't q/e wiggle like a Muppet when I'm patching you up so that we don't get shot looking like idiots. Also, if your SquadLead asks for a personal emotional support medic don't be afraid to say no. Your job, most of the time, is saving tickets. Your abilities are usually worth more in the midst of your squad, not wandering some far corner of the map.

Good squad leaders often try to direct squads during masscals. You want to direct the medic picked up first. Get automatics up next (unless you need LATS/HATS for an immediate vehicle threat. Have riflemen/engineers/marksmen revived last. Have the wounded pull secure and have the medic prioritize getting squad members up then healing health and stamina second. Also situational awareness is key. If you're in the open or a killzone get the hell out of the killzone. Retrieve the casualties if you gain fire superiority. If you can't do that you may have to leave the bodies and have the teammates respawn. If you can put down a RP that can allow you to continue mission although ammo will be a concern. One more note after a firefight make sure to resupply. If near a FOB or vehicle load up if able. If not use the rifleman ammo bag. Medic bandages are a priority. Usually they should have a minimum of 4 bandages. Note LAT/HAT reload is a priority if a real vehicle threat. If you are the squad leader be sure to command your squad. Not always easy with randoms. Great video. Keep them coming.

Is the pistol good for anything else except switching to it when out of ammo? I mean it's still slow to switch to it.
@therazgriz00794 жыл бұрын
Sometimes it's better to draw a pistol if you have a ranged optic and get into a close firefight. They're nowhere near as powerful as the rifle is but I often find it easier to aim and hit someone with the close range irons than sight in through a 4x and panic thinking "fuck, I gotta scroll left!"
@Chezboii4 жыл бұрын
@@therazgriz0079 I think that depends on what you prefer. When i get in cc with 4x i usually use hip fire i stead of aiming with the pistol. I think it's always better to hipfire an AR on Auto in cc than to aim with pistol. And thats the point of my question: Why should i use the pistol? :D (Of course there are people using it, but there should be any effective benefit for using pistol in cc, for example a quicker pull of it. Makes me sad that it's not implemented.
