I'm from Meghalaya. I'm highly disappointed to say that this video is completely misleading. Meghalaya is extremely beautiful but by showing a collage of places from all over the world Tripoto is doing a disservice to my beautiful state. DO SHOW THE REAL BEAUTY OF MEGHALAYA. WE DON'T WANT THIS DECEPTION.

This video looks like a collections of bits and pieces from USA, Canada, Japan, Thailand etc. There is not even a single picture from Garo Hills (leave alone the video). Why do you have to add Thai dances when talking about Meghalaya ? I would say this is misleading to viewers. Expectation & reality can disappoint the travellers.

Guys at @tripoto, this is a good video, however, you could have put in a little more effort, and the video could have been a true representation of Meghalaya. A few recomendations. 1. Use actual pictures and videos of Meghalaya. 2. Use a local VO artist who can pronounce the correct names of places, food etc. 3. Give correct info e.g., in the video it was said that it is not recommended to travel from May to December. Travellers these days visit places according to their choice of weather, climate etc. Maybe you could have scripted that line differently to give a more inviting perspective to the target audience.

I'm a local from Shillong and this video has misleading information for instance Kshaid Nohkalikai is definitely not located in Nartiang. This beautiful waterfall is in the heart of Cherrapunjee. And Nartiang which is famously known for Monoliths is located in Jowai District. Would be wonderful if you guys had also added the original soundtrack of the Khasi music and not of some Chinese/Vietnamese music which does not represents our culture and music.

The unforgettable landscapes of Meghalaya will stay in your heart, long after your journey is over. The table-top heights of Sohra (Cherrapunjee) are brimful with waterfalls, streams, and forest trails. Gaze at the Bangladeshi plains from the many vantage points on the state’s southern ridges. The outskirts of Shillong and the high plateau around Mylliem and Smit offer postcard perfect representations of the simple life - complete with pastel green meadows, tall pine groves, crisp cool air, and quiet villages with quaint cottages and wooden fences spread across the countryside.

As a local tour guide and explorer serving for 14 years I just wanted to say that this video is misleading tourist completely who want to visit Our beloved lands, beside Mentioning wrong spots at wrong location for example Nohkalikai is located here in Cherrapunji (Sohra) not Nartiang,Double decker bridge is in Tyrna,Dawki river not mention and there are 100+ places much much more beautiful than these mentioned in the video above. So please visit all places before you post a misleading video. We can help you providing information and places in all Meghalaya and which of them are mostly overcrowded and where these places are located. 🙏🙏🙏

What the heck?? I love Shillong and I live there, but this is an extremely misleading video. It is all that the narrative says, but your video is pathetic - showing scenes from either movies or other travel channels of other places around the world and fooling people to think that that's Meghalaya - that's offensive to the actual beauty of the land.
