Hey Brandon appreciate the reply but now i got one more question for you buddy.After you put the turbokit in it did you have a check engine light? And did you only use that plug and play tuner you bought from amtuning or whatever it was called? I found a place near me that has a dynomat etc etc but he said there is no way to tune my 2016 corolla le eco with the factory ecu and if i did it will not pass NC inspections anymore.

When I did the turbo, I didn’t not have any check engine lights. The AMT tune is not used for the turbo. They only will tune the car for bolt ons like an exhaust and intake. The turbo kit came with piggy back harness with an AEM FIC that people can tune. Not many people will tune the stock ECU. Unless they work on Toyotas.

I love your passion for the sport model. It sucks you couldnt find a manual though. This build you got is even more awesome; Inside out. My gripe about the manufactured build is the sport model should have had lower sus. The body doesnt look right 5-6 inches from tire. You lowering is only fitting. A lot of people do say the oem wheel size is too small. So the fact you got bigger wheels makes perfect sense. Anyway, keep up the corolla content. I'm a proud owner 💪

I like all the mods, as.they are well thought out and are tasteful. 👍 To be "rice", you need really bad cosmetic mods like fake hood scoop from local auto parts store, clashing colors that make no sense, etc. IMHO.

Great video! I always wondered, how did you get the steering wheel controls to work? I recall when you installed the steering wheel you said that you might need a new clockspring, but I never saw an update after that

In the video I installed my roof spoiler I also put the new clock spring in, which seemed to fix my airbag problem I was having. But the steering wheel controls still didn’t work. And after I installed the new idoing radio, it gave me the options to learn the steering wheel controls and that got them to work. I have actually been meaning to make a full video about it because I get a bunch of questions about them. You will have to buy 4 of each. They do not come in sets! The price of wheels and tires have been insane lately! My set when I bought them were about $1100 for the wheels, and $900 for the tires!

No I just used the stock endlinks. From using them they don’t make any weird noises. The only noises I hear is when I hit a big bump, I will bottom out the suspension and you might hear a clink noise. But for the price and they seem to be decent quality I would recommend them. I have had them for 2 year and 30,000 miles and no complaints about them. But they do ride a bit rough, but that’s normal for coilovers.

You said the rev9 coilovers ride a lil stiff? Mine is pretty bouncy you know there is knobs you can turn for the damping on the strut travel right? Its to loosen or tighten how it rides. It’s has 32 click adjustment.

Yeah I have the ride set fairly tight on the dampening, so some of it is my fault. But the reason I have it set to hard it because I’m pretty low. And it have the dampening pretty loose I tend to bottom out my suspension more often.

Brandon how did you install a cold air intake without removing your mass air flow sensor altogether or getting a check engine light from it afterwords?

When you install the cold air intake, you will have to reuse the factory mass air flow sensor, and swap it onto the new intake. And I never got any check engine lights.

Thank you! 🙏 And the altis lights will on fit the 10th gen 2009-2010. If you wanted to fit on your 10.5 gen you will need to do a conversion, which involves getting a 2009 trunk, (but I believe the bumper can stay the same) which has the shape of the altis tail lights.

If your going to do it yourself, and don’t have much experience with cars. I would start with blacking out all the chrome, and doing a bunch of the small things first. And after then maybe get some wheels and lower the suspension! That’s pretty much how I started with my corolla. Did a bunch of small stuff and slowly started doing the bigger projects!
