I've only been there once, last week, for the first time, there are very few points to try out your brakes and scrub off momentum. When you see that fence/gate looming it's difficult not to reflex grab the levers. I rode the black by accident...the red forks off at a point where (like I said) you can't scrub off speed so I just took a guess and forked right...on to the black, doh!🤣 The terrain in winter is really pock-marked, particularly on the berms. Scary stuff.

it's defo easier in the dryer months as it doesn't change so much, it seems to get washed out in winter. I'm still very new and not that confident with winter slop lol unfortunately we don't have many man made hardpack trails up in northumberland so i've just gotta learn quicker haha.

Pretty sure I had a good old chin wag with you pair this day, at the beginning of the 2nd part of the powerline! I was riding the blue bird hardtail. I've went back and watched a few of your vids now and you're definitely improving! Keep it up mate and ride safe

I see lots of progression in areas Gord, more flowing on stuff you know, dropping off lips etc, lots to be pleased about and a great video again and strange but good day, I really need some protection now that off was high speed I'm surprised I didn't really hurt myself

Great video as usual Gordon, I went to hamsterley yesterday with a workmate who's a regular their and he's 40yrs my junior, I'm 65, I ended up doing 3 red trails and a load of climbing on my new ebike and I can tell you and other viewers that gopros don't do these routs justice, I had a great day, only did 8.5 miles but it was a blast.im sure it's only the bikes holding you both back just keep at it and you'll get there I'm sure.
