Great video! I have some questions: 1) In your example for an individual sport you have 3 accumulation blocks in a row, does every block still have a deload week? 2) Same for intensification week? 3) For the second intensification block, do you lower the volume and increase intensity or do you keep the volume as in the first block and increase the intensity aswell? Thanks again

Great content, thanks you. Just a question about the training blocks. What do they refer to ? A selection exercises ?
@FlowHighPerformance14 жыл бұрын
A training block just means a mesocycle of training. Usually 3-5 weeks of training plus a 1-week deload 👍

Question - what is the difference between Block and Linear periodization for strength training
@isakpettersson30696 жыл бұрын
++@@FlowHighPerformance1 OK. So if you for example have 3 Accumulation, 2 Intensification and 1 realization blocks. Whats the differences between the first and second intensification block. Is the second lower volume and higher intensity? For example Intensification Block 1: 5 sets x 4 reps Intensification Block 2: 4 sets x 3 reps Thanks for the answer:) Keep up the work

a question, how can I do 12 weeks of an acumulation phase, i mean if I only add sets and sets during 12 weeks it would be a huge amount of training volume or that does not care? what im trying to say is, if I do an acumulation phase of 4 weeks Do i have to start with a medium training volume Lets say 12 sets and at the end of the mesocycle I will be doing 16sets, but if i do 3 mesocycles of acumulation i will be doing 24 sets! how can i control that variable? if im novice start with less sets for example 8 sets at the start of the mesocycle or 6 , and if im intermediate 10-12 and advanced 14-16?
@mati29125 жыл бұрын
@@FlowHighPerformance1 ohhh yeah now I understand its all about progressive overload, for example I can perform bench press in the first mesocycle and i can go for 12 set to 16 and in the second acumulation mesocycle start again with 12 but with more weight, more reps o with dips or dumbell bench press (for example) cant I?
@mati29125 жыл бұрын
@@FlowHighPerformance1 and obviusly in spite of adding more weight or change the exercise I have to keep following the same rule of the acumulation phase of adding sets, right?
