In this video, I go over how to do product research for Walmart to Walmart flips. This is one of my favorite ways to find products to sell on Walmart. Walmart regularly discounts items which creates opportunities for us to go in and buy them so that we can resell the item once Walmart raises their price. Using tools like Sellify we can see all of the data and determine if a produt will be a good flip or not.

Types of flips:
Buying products where Walmart is discounted for a limited time and then reselling once the price jumps back up.
Specific times for price drops like black friday
Flash deals or event deals
Rollback
Clearance
Products where Walmart is low in stock and the next offer on the listing has a higher price.
My criteria:
I only buy from Walmart themselves. (you can try buying from 3rd parties but I don’t)
DO NOT USE YOUR WALMART PLUS ACCOUNT
Use an account with a different email address than your seller account
Create a Walmart Business account (still would not use walmart plus)
Look to see if the price has dipped in the past and has then bounced up
If this is the only dip, check to see that it hasn’t been this way for long.
Check Walmart’s stock
Check the next closest seller’s stock and price and that you can compete with them
Make sure to list it in your catalog before buying to see if you’re gated or not
Best time to buy:
Holidays or major shopping events like Black Friday. This way you’ll find items that Walmart is lowering their price on for only a bit and then be able to sell once they jump back up.
You can also buy during other days but make sure to check Walmart’s stock count and the lowest price history to be sure it will bounce back.

The shipping price can be toggled on in the additional fees section. It shows WFs fees as default and you can access that from the fees breakdown section.

It appears that the shipping costs were not included in the profit calculation.

They were. It was the WFS costs and my inbound costs of .30 cents per a pound

Lower than amazon but better margins. I’m still learning what sells and keeping momentum going in my store but it’s an addicting platform.
