Hello Everyone Please take a note that we have negligently forgot to cover in this lecture the 2001 Amendment to this Act, so there are amendments in Section 6 and Schedule and addition of Section 6A 6. Penalty. - Whoever contravenes or attempts to contravene or abets the contravention of the provisions of,- (i) Section 3, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years or with fine which may extend to two thousand rupees or with both; and (ii) Section 4 or section 5, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years but which may extend to seven years and with fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees.] 6A. Punishment for committing theft, extortion or robbery of question papers. - Whoever commits theft, extortion or robbery of question papers of any public examination, at any time before the examination in such question paper is over, shall,notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (Central Act No. 45 of 1860) be punishable with imprisonment for a term which shall not be less than five years but which may extend to seven years and with fine which shall not be less than fifteen thousand rupees but which may extend to one lac rupees. SCHEDULE 1. Any examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education for Rajasthan under the Rajasthan Secondary Examination Act, 1957 (Act No. 42 of 1957). 2. Any examination conducted by any University established by law in India. 3. Any examination conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission or Union Public Service Commission. [4. Any examination conducted by any Autonomous College in the State.] [5. Any Examination conducted by the Railway Recruitment Board, Ajmer
