Excellent. Good to see an iconic moped treated with respect. While once common, they now rarely come up for sale in working order. I'd like one because in my old age, "fast" is not the priority it once was. The new priority is taking time to appreciate the sights and smells of the surroundings. A most enjoyable video.

I didn't know it too well at first, I couldn't start it and was pedaling along--a guy on a regular bicycle went by and said, "Ha-ha." Then I got it started and went right by him and said, "Ha-ha!" Great restoration! I bought a second hand one as a teenager in Salisbury, Rhodesia (Harare, Zimbabwe). This was an inexpensive face saver (it was not a push bike!) as most of my other privileged peers were gifted cars or motorcycles when they turned 16. It was in the days of petrol rationing but the 2 coupons a month plenty for it's frugal consumption. It was pretty robust machine as I treated it fairly roughly. Removing the silencer made it go faster as the motor would otherwise want to cut out as the revs reached a certain point. Affectionately known by me as the " Very Slowlex" 😂 There was one sole importer who used to do assemble them and also do repairs and servicing.
