i freaking love the pokemon community... because pokemon has been going strong for so long the community is so diverse and kids who were there when pokemon began are adults who now foster love of pokemon in the kids getting into pokemon today just out of the love of the franchise. im sure a lot of these adults who just spend their money on pokemon cards and hand out packs and tins without the expectation of anything in return are doing it because they know it would have made them freak out as kids, and as someone getting older i can say that every year i get more and more excited to just make kids of today happy in the ways i wanted to be happy as a kid and that the joy of fostering a community is worth infinitely more than the money used to build it.
